Google Analytics is a free tool offered by Google that allows you to collect information on who visits your lodge website. We have made it very easy to add this function to your site so that it collects information on who visits every one of your lodge pages.

Simply create a Google Analytics account with Google, start a new profile, and enter the profile code into your LodgeSite Options screen. The steps are shown in detail below.

How to add Google Analytics to your Lodge website:

1. Create an account on the Google Analytics website (free) at http://www.google.com/analytics/
   
   
   
   
2. Add a profile for a new domain to track. Enter the link with abbreviation to your site, for example https://www.lodgesite.com/sample
   
   
   
   
3. Google will give you a script to place on your page. This script has a unique number embedded in it. Copy that number and enter it on the Google Analytics section of your LodgeSite maintenance options screen.
   
   
   For example, the number in the above script is “UA-1234567-8”. Enter just the number on your lodge options screen:
   
   
   
4. That is it, in a few days usage metrics for your site will start to appear in the Google Analytics system.
